What Happened
Dublin, Ireland. GAP2 attended the North Western Waters Regional Advisory Council (NWWRAC)’s Executive Committee meeting in Dublin on 26th September. Steve Mackinson and Sarah Goddard provided an overview of GAP2 and its work with the RACs on strengthening stakeholder participation in research. A suggestion to help the RAC’s initiatives on a Long Term Management Plans was discussed, where GAP2 could play a role in helping establish the required collaborations, know-how and links to technical scientific work being undertaken in the MYFISH project. The project and ideas were well received by the RAC and further discussions are now in progress.
