Puget Sound Exchange – New Film!

GAP2 brings you another fabulously fishy short film Рthis time focussed on the international #GAP2Exchange program.

Back in September, GAP2 Communications Officer Katrina Borrow travelled to Puget Sound, USA with an intrepid investigative team: Rory (from Birdlife International) and Rex (a Yorkshire fisherman). The brief? To exchange knowledge and ideas around the issue of bird bycatch, specifically in gillnet fisheries.

You can read all about the exchange through a range of blogs posted to our Puget Sound exchange page – check it out here.

For further insight into their bycatch-busting adventures in the Puget Sound salmon fishery, check out the short film below.

If you have any questions about the exchange, or would like to see further images from the trip, please contact Katrina on: Katrina@mindfullywired.org
