Martin Pastoors’ Blog: GAP2 meets the CFRN (presentation)

GAP2 Scientist and work package 3 leader, Martin Pastoors has been in Canada, learning about (and from) the Canadian Fisheries Research Network (CFRN).

This network is a collaboration of academic researchers, the fishing industry, and government researchers and managers from across Canada. The Network includes over 30 academics from 15 universities working closely with representatives of fishing fleets from Canada’s Atlantic, Pacific and freshwater fisheries, and Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO).

You can download a PDF of the presentation Martin gave about his Canadian exchange, providing and overview of the GAP2 project, the CFRN and some of the lessons learnt from this exchange.
