Management of Red Shrimp Fishery in Catalonia Spain

In May 2014 the Marine Stewardship Council Science Series published a paper looking into the management strategies for the GAP2 case-study red shrimp fishery in Catalonia, Spain. Their findings show that the current management strategy is appropriate in achieving sustainability. 

In May, 2014 the Marine Stewardship Council Science Series published a paper on the management strategies (and their outcomes in attaining sustainability) for the red shrimp (Aristeus antennatus) in Catalonia (NE Spain). The results found who that the MSC considers the management strategy recently established, in collaboration with GAP2, is appropriate in achieving a sustainable red shrimp fishery.
